about

Frith were formed in 2002 by singer songwriter/ guitarists Gerry Dunne and James S (Later Master Harker), and were named after the deity/grim reaper figure from the novel, 'Watership Down'. Soon recruiting their friend Pete on drums (and after a brief spell with bass player Monty) Frith chose another friend, Laurie, to play bass. The definitive line-up of Frith was born! Practicing until they were tighter than a gnat's chuff, Frith played loud energetic gigs at venues mainly in the Stoke's Croft area of Bristol, often supporting fellow Bristol band Episonic. Ditching rock clichés and influenced by the likes of the Stooges, Mudhoney and Teenage Fanclub, Frith produced loud, proud, lo-fi garage punk.

The two tracks here were live favourites of the band, with 'I want more life..fucker!' bringing gigs to an intense and explosive end
